TOY FAIR 2009

by Herb Levy

The annual International Toy Fair held from February 15 through the 18th in New York City is an event that Gamers Alliance looks forward to each year. This year was no exception. The weather proved cooperative as temperatures hovered around the 40s for most of the fair which is pretty balmy weather for New York in February. As always, the best part of the fair is connecting and re-connecting with friends, both old and new (you know who you are). But for the majority of the readers of this report, the focus is on games. So, with some assistance from Contributing Editor Steve Kurzban, here is our comprehensive view and YOUR advanced peek at what's new and planned for the year ahead. Where available, we've included brief descriptions, number of players, game length and suggested retail price. Critical commentary and evaluations are reserved for upcoming issues of GA REPORT. (And if you're not reading GA REPORT, you're missing the best written and most insightful reviews around! You are invited to correct that oversight right now and join Gamers Alliance today!)
